SUMO - Simulation of Urban MObility

An open source traffic simulation package

"Simulation of Urban MObility" (SUMO) is an open source, highly portable, microscopic road traffic simulation package designed to handle large road networks.

It is developed by employees of the Centre for Applied Informatics (ZAIK) and the Institute of Transport Research at the German Aerospace Centre.

You may find the application and some examples within the download-section.

We kindly ask you to participate in any way - ask questions, report bugs, tell your needs. Please use the mailing lists (see Contact) to exchange problems or ideas.

Help and documentation can be found within our wiki. This will incrementally replace the current documentation section.
